CASP Products Ltd is a privately owned company based in Harrogate North Yorkshire. Originally set up in 1995 to develop the BCB range of chemicals it soon became evident that the environmental market needed small incubators for Dipslides. The first product was a round device called the Incupot and has the advantage of a solid state temperature control that did not have the problem of mechanical contacts switching the element on & off. Many of these early Incupots are still in use today. The Fieldmaster followed in 1996 using the same temperature control but with a large capacity and specifically designed for field/mobile use.
In 1997 CASP took over the distribution of the Micro-C Dipslides in the UK and added these to the incubator range to provide a package. In 1998 the worldwide market was opened to us and overseas distributors established.
By 1999 the Challenger rectangular incubator replaced the Incupot offering greater scope for general incubation but featuring the reliable technology of its predecessor.
Then in 2000 Dipslide production was brought in house and the MicroSlide range was founded. It has progressively become a popular choice in the environmental hygiene industry.
2004 saw our move to the current factory in Harlow Hill ( as seen on TV). The 2 story facility houses both Incubator and Dipslide production with a substantial clean room & filling lab. Our continued investment in production equipment and property ensures we can service all requirements promptly from our own resources.
