How to use Dipslides:

Remove the slide from the tube by carefully twisting the combined handle and paddle unit

Then, for surfaces carefully apply each agar against the surface, depending on your requirements you may sweep or make multiple contacts as required. The flexible hinge design of the paddle allows total contact. Please take care not to touch the agar as this may introduce contamination from your fingers.

For fluids the paddle should be fully submerged in the sample for a few seconds or run in a stream or spray of liquid.

Then replace the paddle in the tube and incubate for the recommended time and temperature, this information is supplied with the dipslides. Please see Challenger

Finally check the results against the chart to establish contamination levels
